  1. This and the previous post about Michigan are further evidence, were any needed, that American “democracy” is a failure and a farce when it comes to protecting those sentient beings that are most at the mercy of regnant humankind. The “American dream” has turned into a nightmare for every other wild creature, and potential target, living in this country. The right course of action, from the standpoint of both morality and, perhaps, of efficacy is to turn one’s back on the depraved political process that presently exists and move with haste toward Direct Action on behalf of abused animals. The ALF and the “Justice Department” have the right idea even if their efforts have been puny and ineffectual to date. It may not stop the ecological apocalypse that’s coming but it can make one sleep better at night knowing that you, personally, have risked SOMETHING, done SOMETHING to try and slow this tidal wave of destruction.

  2. I agree that IHunting, Trapping and killing animals is cruel and inhumane should be illegal and factory farming of animsls disgusting. These companies afe fighting to have tha video taping of and cameras bannef from their farms to hide the abuses, cruelty and torture of the animals as well as for gag orders for their employees. Politicans who are BOUGHT AND OWNED BY THESE PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING FOR THESE COMPANIES. PUBLIC IGNORANCE OF WHAT GOES ON AND A. DESIRE TO AVOID HAVING TO EXAMINE THEIR Consciences IS A BIG IMPEDIMENT TO CHANGE. THE PUBLIC REMAINS IGNORANT BECAUSE MOST NEWS AND MEDIA SOURCES ARE SFRAID TO STAND UP AGAINST THEM. The whole industry needs to be examined and changed. This will not be easy as any real CHANGE WILL GREATLY IMPACT THEIR PROFITS; THIS IS ABOUT EGO, PROOFOF SUPERIORT, POWER AND THE DOLLAR. It is what rules our diseased world.
