Here’s a question I received today, followed by my reply…
Q. Hey, Love your blog . I have a question .I live in New York and I am 18 . I hate what is happening to the wolves and coyotes In the U.S . I see all of these horrid pictures of dead wolves and coyotes . I feel so useless . I need to help save them .But I have no idea what to do .Or where to start . If you can help me in anyway , it would be highly appreciated.
A. I’m glad to hear you’re on the side of the wolf. All I can say about the pictures of dead wolves and coyotes is try to meter your viewing of them with appropriate activism on your part. Don’t let them burn you out. If you don’t have time to take action, don’t view the photo. But whenever you can, follow up on the action suggested by the pro-wolf groups and make your feelings known. You may not see instant results, but you’ll know you’re doing whatever you can. Keep the faith–the anti-wolf a-holes are far outnumbered and they know it!

Great way to put it and so true, from a wolf advocate!
Thanks Cheryl
Excellent advice.
Thanks Maureen, Viewing images of sick, twisted people posing with their kills ad nauseam can quickly lead good folks to become vicarious victims themselves, which just helps to fuel the wolf haters’ control fantasies.
Reblogged this on Wolf Is My Soul.
Expecting to see results would surely lead to discouragement and burnout. I’ve been fighting for this planet and its wildlife for 40 years. I do it because it’s the right thing to do, though my hopes of making an impact disappeared long ago. My anger toward and hatred of the killers and destroyers keeps me going, and if I can throw even a tiny monkeywrench into the a-holes’ plans, or be an annoying mosquito to them that they can’t quite swat, that makes it worth it..
Agreed. Like being vegan because it’s the right thing to do. We can’t expect animal abuse to end overnight, but at least we know we’re not complicit in it.
you folks have said it all & well…i’m glad to see/hear that some of the “younger” generation cares about more than wasting time and energy on their electronic gadget- games!
I love this kid already. So someone needs to help him find the right groups to join so he may help us all for the wolves! I too am glad he is not on the gaming thing too!
