The wild animals are most happy right now! There should be more of this. Humans just don’t do well in Nature, as they have a propensity to “manage” & “manipulate” at the very least, and usually do more harm than good. Good to know, however, that there are staff monitoring for poaching.

I have no reason to go to Yellowstone and don’t plan on ever visiting there so the shutdown has absolutely no effect on me.
It’s a good place to see wildlife, including wild wolves, so I would think you would want to go there sometime.
