“The standard diet of a meat-eater is blood, flesh, veins, muscles, tendons, cow secretions, hen periods and bee vomit. And once a year during a certain holiday in November, meat-eaters use the hollowed-out rectum of a dead bird as a pressure cooker for stuffing. And people think vegans are weird because we eat tofu?” – Gary Yourofsky
Yes I have but I prefer Soy Milk. I’m not crazy about the taste of AM in my coffee (for some reason). I have even tried the So-Delicious Coffee “creamer” and I find it overpowers my taste buds.
I am allergic to soy, almonds and slightly to milk. Also alergic to glutens. I’m pretty screwed up as far as diet goes. The year GMO got mixed with the blue corn chips, I got really sick from it. I have to eat very, very carefully. I do not react to rice milk. Rice and ‘the three sisters’ play a large part in my diet. It is important to use heirloom, non-GMO seeds.

Sure would be healthier if we didn’t promote gluttony as giving thanks! And how is animal cruelty giving thanks?

Well said Jim,
Hey everyone! Please don’t forget to adopt a turkey this year. http://www.farmsanctuary.org/giving/adopt-a-turkey/
Hi Jim,
I was wondering what your thoughts are on this article.
I use soy in my coffee every morning and afternoons. That’s about the extent of my soy milk consumption. Otherwise, I use miso and tempeh.
Just curious as to your feelings on soy milk and tofu.

Susan, have you tried almond milk in your coffee? That’s what I use.

there’s some good info on pcrm about soy – here’s one article – http://www.pcrm.org/health/health-topics/soy-and-your-health, if you google: pcrm soy; you’ll get more.
you can also find some info at http://www.nutritionfacts.org

Can’t imagine that this could be said any better.
