From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

noun \hi-ˈpä-krə-sē also hī-\ the behavior of people who do things that they tell other people not to do : behavior that does not agree with what someone claims to believe or feel

According to the quote above from Governor General Walker’s fable book he believes that decisions should be made at the “local level” to protect our “freedoms.” If that is the case then why did Walker just sign into law a bill that takes away all local government control when it comes to bow hunting within city limits?

  1. Of course they do! What this amounts to is the growing movement, which many Libertarians support, to do away with Federal Lands, Federal Regulations, and make it a state’s rights issue. Without environmental laws, regulations, it would be a real free for all out there, and a real boon to the corporate/privatization maniacs. It’s bad enough as it is already. When these folk rant about “Big Government” what is it they want to do away with? : usually, social programs to protect citizens from extreme poverty, environmental and species protection, and lastly, turning over our National Forests, Wilderness areas BLM and state lands to privatize them. We all know how great this move to privatization has been. This is a very serious situation. This is why wolves (& other wildlife) are now being massively slaughtered.
