Yabut! Unfortunately the people that REALLY need to comprehend & practice these important ideals don’t even care enough to READ THIS POSTER!..(I know/my cynicism is showing) …*sigh*
Let’s not forget the endangered species, the planet itself. When gone, they’re forever lost and our world is finite, the earth is not elastic; we must manage our own numbers . Human population is inversely connected to the chances the planet has to survive .
Unfortunately, Homo sapiens, the Rogue Species, has always been a species at war with itself, other hominids, and all non-human life. The planet is viewed as a “resource” and “commodity”–to be “used” for human activity of every kind. As Michele points out, human population numbers are a core problem. If there is to be any survival for non-human life (and the planet in general), human numbers must be greatly reduced, or entirely eliminated. Probably, the latter will be best for the Biosphere to restore itself–and it will take thousands, maybe millions, of years.

You don’t have to be a genius, but you have to know what compassion is.

Amen to that.
What is so sad is how many species have already gone extinct.
It’s the 6th extinction–the first one caused by a single species of animal.
