Karma’s a “bitch,” isn’t it!…When are stupid arrogant humans going to understand that animals feel…animals want to live and deserve same…they suffer…they will fight for their lives…we are NOT the (so-called) “superior” animal species (see “speciesism” and quit practicing it…animal “bigotry”)…humans just think they are entitled…am only hoping the magnificent swordfish lived…(I can dream)…*sigh*
Obviously all of us who don’t express condolences will be excoriated by those who only think people matter. Sorry. Our role on this earth has been full of bloodshed and destruction for those who did nothing to us and who could not fight back, except for an occasional victory by elephant, bear, or swordfish. Guess I just don’t like bullies who whine when the tables are turned.
Well, these are the risks of big game hunting and fishing, which we seldom hear about. I wonder what will happen with the latest recipient of the Darwin award, the woman in the wildlife park who left her car windows open so she could take pictures of a lioness? The poor lioness was just behaving as a lioness would. I hope she isn’t destroyed because of human carelessness, and keeping wild animals in captivity is unsafe proposition at best anyway. Let’s not make the animals be the ones who pay, either way.

Not so fun on the receiving end, is it?
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Good one.
Words not to live by

The hunted animal so rarely has the opportunity to fight back. I’m glad this one did but hope he or she survived the assault.
And two Idaho bear hunters drowned in the last week or so. I suddenly feel a bit cheerful.
