Well, so much for the notion of multi-use on public lands. The comments to the Globe article are interesting in that the pro-hunting contingent believe that non-hunters should just stay out of the woods during the four-day hunt. So then, what is the solution in western states where hunting seasons run into months, if not the whole year? Shall we just define ‘multi-use’ as “public lands grazing, and hunting, with occasional illegal agricultural operations?”
