More consider the source…

  1. So while Facebook contemplates infringing on freedom of speech, it allows cretin nimrods to flaunt their talent at killing. And psychopaths can also post their torture and killing of animals. Millions can view the displays. Moderators may remove the most horrific images if people complain.

In the meantime comments that may be deemed as “offensive” will not be allowed. In a culture that increasingly revels in the delights of outrage, much offensiveness will be noted and complained about.

Yes, there are a lot of ugly comments made. But most do not openly incite violence. They are mean and they are stupid. But they remind me of something George Will said: “People have no inherent right to go through life without having their feelings hurt.”

If Facebook is going to ban words that anyone might find offensive, then advocates should demand an end of images that flaunt and promote animal abuse and death. We find them more than offensive.

    • ..nailed it..
..I’m too angry/sick/nauseated/sad to write my own post..
..so I’m going to agree with you..
      ..because you’re correct..

  2. Thank God I never joined Facebook, Twitter, or any of the others – the only use I have for them is the rounding up and shaming abusers and killers, finding lost pets, reuniting familes, etc. Also, they serve the function of the public stocks and pillories of old and are quite valuable in that way. 🙂

  3. The Human Species loves war, killing, & “pussy” in one form or another. So, what else is new? Since we have no tests or requirements to be President of this Superpower, we now have a mainiac in the WH who has lowered the bar even more. We are very close to an all-out Nuclear Confrontation with someone–who knows at this point, as it will be up to Trump, the “Dick Tator.” Our species (I wish I were not part of it), is intent on Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: its obsession with killing, torturing, bombs, and nukes. Ultimately, perhaps not too long now, this prophecy we’ve created for ourselves, will come true. Too bad the other life on this beleaguered planet has to suffer too.
