Thank you for this. There’s always the attempts by the media to be ‘fair’ and legitimize this behavior by hunters, ranchers and F&W, even quoting nobodies, hunting outfitters, and gun and hunting clubs! They really do a lot of harm this way, and they are not the most knowledgeable about the subject matter, and dumb down the articles! Sometimes a scientist is quoted, but rarely if ever is an environmentalist quoted, without making him or her out to be a villain or a space shot! This does even more harm by perpetuating these myths about those who care about wildlife and wildlands. The cheap trapping and hunting fees just perpetuate the ignorant ‘vermin’ concept.
The message that comes through loud and clear is ‘People First’.
