Laws to protect farmers’ ‘property’ have been made more strict – and I’m glad these boys are one of the first to be affected by the new laws. They have been charged with felonies. I had to laugh reading comments blaming the change in the laws on ‘liberals’ and that it would ruin these poor boys’ lives. Well, it was most likely conservative politicians listening to their base who made the changes to the laws.
I think the laws were made more strict, generally speaking, because of animal rights activists. But these little bastards were the ones caught in the snare. Good!
