March 9th, 2018. They might be at the bottom of the food chain, but krill could prove to be a secret weapon in the fight against the growing threat of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans.

This seems prematurely optimisticWhat happens to the plastic eaten by the krill that is bioaccumulated in the krillWhales eat krill Getting the plastic out of the ocean is the answer not expecting krill to digest plastic Surely it can’t be any healthier for krill or whales than for humans It’s not a biodegradable product even if krill disseminate the plastic differently than it normally would be Ugghh
