WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is moving to reverse Obama-era rules barring hunters on some public lands in Alaska from baiting brown bears with bacon and doughnuts and using spotlights to shoot mother black bears and cubs hibernating in their dens.
The National Park Service issued a notice Monday of its intent to amend regulations for sport hunting and trapping in national preserves to bring the federal rules in line with Alaska state law.

This is just nothing but allowing garbage to be set out. It is not hunting. It truly is disgusting.
These people really ought to be embarrassed – but of course they don’t have the common sense to be. This is what we can expect after bringing an endangered animal back from the brink – throwing garbage around and disrespecting the wilderness. It’s bad enough for individual states to allow it – but coming from the Interior Department, USF&W, and the National Parks, Refuges and Forest Service and BLM – it is truly another downward turn.
