A hunting accident Tuesday morning sent a Vonore man to the hospital.

Mime Barnes with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) said a group of people were bear hunting around 9:15 a.m. when a bear came at them out of a tree. Several people reportedly fired at the bear, hitting one of the hunters by accident.
