Two days after the terrible hunting accident that claimed the life of, Sunday, 14, to a mountain biker in the Haute-Savoie region, the prosecutor of the Republic has unveiled details of the investigation that make this accident quite mysterious. In fact, the context in which the unfortunate Mark Sutton was killed seemed devoid of danger.
The hunters, who were eight in number –five hunters of the ACCA Montriond and three young guests 21 to 24 years– were at forty meters of the victim at the time of the fatal shooting. And according to the magistrate, the hunters moved on an area that is not wooded, while the mountain biker, himself, was on a path. In other words, the visibility was perfect.
