CLAY COUNTY – A 22-year-old Spencer man suffered an injury in a hunting incident Sunday.

In a news release, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources stated the man was waterfowl hunting on Barringer Slough. He reportedly suffered minor hand injuries from his firearm.

The man was not identified.
