TOWN OF MAINE (WLUK) — A hunter died Saturday morning after collapsing in a field.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office said dispatchers walked a family member through CPR until first responders arrived.

Officials were called to the area near the intersections of County Highways M and F in the Town of Maine, where a 38-year-old man was complaining of chest pains and then collapsed.

The sheriff’s office said first responders tried to save the man but he didn’t make it.
