OSCODA COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – Authorities are not certain what led up to a hunter being shot and killed in Michigan’s Oscada County.

Michigan State Police say a 29-year-old man was found later Friday night, and they hope an autopsy will determine whether the man was shot by someone else or by his own weapon.

The death was the third hunting-related shooting death since deer hunting season with a firearm opened last Thursday, according to WJRT.
