BISMARCK, N.D. – A 66-year-old Morton County man is hospitalized in stable condition after a hunting accident Saturday.
Burleigh County authorities say the man was pheasant hunting southeast of Bismarck with three other people when he was struck by pellets from a shotgun. He was wounded in the head, neck and eye and taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
No one else was injured and no charges have been filed.
