A GoFundMe account has been established to help the family of former LSU offensive lineman and tight end Matt Branch pay for expenses after he was seriously injured in a hunting accident in Mississippi.

Branch, a Monroe native who played in 28 games for LSU from 2009-11, was struck in the left leg after a shotgun accidentally discharged during a duck hunting trip in Eagle Lake, Mississippi, according to the GoFundMe page.
