That’s the warning from scientists who fear the creepy flying mammals could be ‘reservoirs for a new type of influenza virus’ which has the potential to ‘attack the cells of humans and livestock’. Researchers from the University of Zurich have warned that bat flu viruses can mutate so they pose a risk of infection to humans.
