  • Washington Gov. Jay Inslee announced Friday he’s entering the 2020 presidential race as a climate change crusader, joining a crowded field of other Democratic contenders.
  • “I’m running for president because I’m the only candidate who will make defeating climate change our nation’s number one priority,” Inslee said in a video released Friday.
  • But he faces risk as recent polls show the climate issue ranks near the bottom as a priority for adult Americans.
  • Inslee is expected to make the White House bid official during an event Friday morning at a Seattle-area solar installation company.

  1. Did she? I only heard her response when she was approached at a political rally with a comment about Donald Trump’s sons. It goes way deeper than that.

She and many of the Democrats support the ‘basics’, but I’d like to see a lot more. Even this New Green Deal doesn’t, and Senator Ocasio-Cortez is a freshman senator with no experience. I want to vote for the right person who can do the job, whether man or woman.

Bernie is a climate change leader too, I think, and he’s extremely savvy around political minefields set by the media. But we’ll see how things go on down the line.
