A bit of a kerfuffle in Dayton when there were reports of a man with a rifle, near the elementary school. The man was shooting squirrels at a park with a pellet gun. Nearby schools went on a precautionary lockdown Wednesday while this was investigated. Deputies say the man admitted he’d made a mistake and was embarrassed by the whole thing, and the schools did the right thing.
