“My son and I have been shot by a turkey hunter,” an off-duty Cincinnati Police Officer told a dispatcher Monday morning.
By Monday afternoon, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported an arrest. Wesley K. Seitz, 23, of Batavia was arrested on two counts of assault and booked into the Clermont County Jail.
It was a long day for police in Clermont County who responded to the 911 call of 52-year-old Daniel Brockmann. In his call, the off-duty officer described his location to the dispatcher and emphasized that he and his 15-year-old son were shot.
