  1. I think the taxpayers would like a review of which ranchers are complying the ‘suggestions’ of using nonlethal methods first, before calling in the big guns to kill wolves?

I figured out why OR wants to offer hunting permits for ‘excess’ wolves – it’s cheap! They don’t have to pay 10K for a helicopter with guns like they regularly did in WA, when they can get an ordinary hunter or trapper for nothing but the price of a hunting or trapping permit. I really do hope this is challenged.

In WA the guy at the Diamond M refuses to comply, and yet has F&W at his beck and call. The taxpayers should not stand for it.

  2. The Diamond M went from every other year or so demanding wolves be killed (on the public lands, no less!) to every year. It’s not something I look forward to reading about every year. So at least he has gotten progressively worse.
