A young man has been accidentally shot in the head while out hunting in Tasmania.
The 18-year-old Gagebrook man was shot at Bothwell, in central Tasmania, about 8.30am with police and paramedics called to the scene.
Another member of the hunting party accidentally shot the man but it wasn’t at close range and the injury was not life threatening, Tasmania Police said.
