Cattlemen offering up to $15,000 for info on cattle shootings

  1. People are nuts today. The human DNA chain is fraying, I’m afraid.

When they aren’t shooting up shopping malls, it’s not a stretch to think they’d shoot animals too, especially when there’s even less done about it.

There’s a very recent case of over 40 wild burros being shot by someone in the California desert, and I truly hope is wasn’t ranchers involved:

I’d like to see at least a total ban of assault weapons for civilians, there’s no need to have them.

  2. Why would they jump to the conclusion that it was wolf advocates doing this? A smear campaign, they’re good at those.

Animal welfare and rights people would not harm any living thing. It certainly isn’t the cattle’s fault.

    • That’s my philosophy. But there are those who love wolves so much and hate cows, so I don’t entirely doubt it (of course I don’t doubt that ranchers would do this themselves either–they’re in the business of killing cows…)

      • Who knows. I hate to think that someone would take it that far – and it would do more harm than good.

But today, it could be anybody. There was some idiot that the FBI caught before he made good on his crazy threats to attack a center, and there’s videoing of him just whooping it up and shooting an automatic weapon randomly.
