• Wausa, Nebraska, 40 miles from Yankton, subscribed $8,500 in bridge stock yesterday when D.B. Gurney and Mike Magner made an afternoon visit.
• Yankton has lost at least one hundred families this season by not having homes for them.

• Don Stuen is a patient at Sacred Heart hospital with gun wounds sustained in a hunting accident last Saturday. This is the third victim of hunting accidents from this community since the season opened.
