FORT MYERS, Fla. — A hunting trip took a scary turn after a man crossed paths with an alligator this happened just to the east of us in martin county.
While on the hunt for hogs…James Boyce was bitten by what some describe as a ten foot alligator.
They say the gator bit Boyce’s leg…sending him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries..
The incident…not surprising to many hunters.
“You don’t like it but you know things are going to happen every now and then, just like you’re swimming out here in the lakes and stuff, or crossing a pond or a ditch and there’s a gator in there and you get bit.”,
