FRANKFORT, N.Y. — The community is rallying to help pay for the funeral services of a 20-year-old Herkimer County man who was shot and killed Nov. 17 by a fellow deer hunter.
Joshua R. Morgan, of Newport, was hunting with a group of people in a wooded area north of state Route 5 South in the town of Frankfort at 8:43 a.m. when someone in his group accidentally shot him, state police spokesman Trooper Jack Keller said earlier this week.
