WASHBURN COUNTY (WKOW) — State officials are asking for information from the public after a man was shot while out hunting in northern Wisconsin.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the man was shot in the town of Minong Sunday around 11 a.m. It happened on land bordered by E. Sleepy Eye Road, south of Sleepy Eye Fire Land, north of Nancy Lake Road and west of CCC Road. Click here for a map of the area.
Investigators are looking for more information from anyone who was out in the area Sunday morning.
