QUEBEC — The province’s hugely popular annual wild turkey hunt is going to get bigger.
Faced with a turkey baby boom and growing complaints from farmers about crop damages caused by the giant birds, Quebec’s Ministère des Forêts, de la faune et des Parcs has decided to authorize a second hunting season in 2020 — this one in the fall.
