SEATTLE — King County has announced sweeping new recommendations for its residents to reduce their risk of exposure to COVID-19 as officials somberly announced a 10th death in the Puget Sound region with confirmed cases now reaching over three dozen.
“We understand these actions will have a tremendous impact on the lives of people in our community,” officials said. “We are making these recommendations in consultation with CDC based on the best information we have currently to protect the public’s health. ”
King County Public Health officials say they are now recommending, but not requiring, the following steps for at least the next three weeks:
