The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) says it is canceling all upcoming scheduled events at state sites.

The cancellation includes, but is not limited to, hunting and fishing on state-managed or -owned sites while state parks, fish and wildlife areas, recreational areas and historic sites are closed.

Illinois closed state parks, fish and wildlife areas, recreational areas and historic sites on March 15 due to COVID-19 concerns.

Hunters and anglers will still be allowed to hunt or fish during the Stay at Home order as long as they have the appropriate licensing and permits and are on private property or at sites that are currently open to the public.
