After giving birth to her son, Daniel,on Nov. 16, Hannah Bandura was out enjoying the beginning of Wisconsin’s gun deer hunting season less than a week later.
Bandura said she didn’t think she’d be ready to hunt by opening day on Saturday, and she wasjealous as she watched her family members get ready to hunt.
Once Sunday rolled around, Bandura said she was feeling goodand her newborn was behaving, soshe and her husband arranged for their newborn and their 2-year-old daughter, Ava, to be looked after so she could go out as well.
Bandura said she’s always been lucky when it comes to hunting, and Sunday was no different. They’d been out on their Kronenwetter property for an hour when she shot the doe from about 20 yards away.
