  1. Above all, I hope the hiker will survive and have a full recovery. The idiot “hunter” should be tried in court on the most serious charge possible, and locked up for a long time. His hunting license must automatically be permanently revoked, with a permanent ban nationally. A no excuse revocation and ban. If he was drunk, the jail time must be much longer, along with a huge fine that goes to the victim.
