CORTLAND COUNTY — A 58-year-old man died Friday night after getting shot with a crossbow while he and another person tried to kill a skunk.

Shortly after 9 p.m., New York State Police in Homer responded to a home on Jipson Hill Road in the town of Taylor for a report of a man shot with a crossbow. Paramedics were already on the scene when troopers arrived.

  1. Hard to imagine this being an ‘accident’ & that 400 lbs. worth of the most efficient killers on earth couldn’t successfully kill him & he was able to continue his charmed life unharmed, bless him.
