A 12-year-old boy is in serious but stable condition after has was shot by his brother in a hunting accident, according to police, on Monday, Dec. 13 in Solon Township.

KENT COUNTY, MI — A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured Monday when he was shot by his older brother in a hunting accident.

Kent County sheriff’s deputies said a 17-year-old was hunting from a tree stand in Solon Township, north of Cedar Springs, about 6 p.m. Dec. 13 when his younger brother came into the woods to call him to dinner.
