No charges have been filed after a9-year-old was shot in the head on Saturday following a hunting accident.

According to reports from Fox8, the child sustained gunshot related injuries following a hunting trip with their grandfather on Saturday. The shooting happened near the High Pine Church Road area.

The child sustained injures as the pair were packing away their hunting gear. The child is believed to be receiving treatment after being airlifted to the Research Triangle Park area.View Comments
