Gather up the usual suspects, any random grizzly will do, and will provide an example to other grizzlies not to become offended when a couple of hunters intrude on your turf with killing on their minds. Even though the hunters are armed sneaking through the area not knowing that they may be near your cache or cubs needing defending as you do.
I really, really hope they leave this poor bear alone. The man survived; and there’s no need for a revenge killing. This does not look good in modern times, that we are treating endangered species the same way we have for centuries – get them out of the way of human interests, human interests and humans take precedence, and wildlife is a danger to humans and their endless activities and encroachments.
Hunting is a dangerous activity, not an entitlement.
This will make five bears taken out of reproduction in 3-4 weeks? Five when you include the cub of the bear shot for breaking into an unoccupied house who will be placed in a zoo I have heard. And who made news previously for killing a lone hiker.
