CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. —
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is asking the public for information regarding a death investigation involving hunting dogs.

According to game wardens, they were called to Freeman Loop Road in Chesterfield County on the afternoon of Oct. 19 to investigate the suspected death of two hunting dogs.
Officials said the investigation has involved property searches, blood sample collection, interviews with potential witnesses and a review of GPS data from the dogs’ tracking collars.
