Wolves will probably be unlisted under Trump, but that does not mean a boost for hunters killing ungulates. Since wolf reintroduction and dispersal, elk kill seasons, and elk numbers are up, way up. WY and MT have seen record seasons and elk numbers. MT had around 88,000 to 90,000 elk before reintroduction and now has 144,000. WY has had record kill seasons. That ungulates numbers decrease with predators is Elmer Fudd land gossip echo chamber BS (hunter mythology). If Fudds have a bad hunt day or season, they go on autopilot with their mythology.
