Hunters do an effective snow job on the public and media about “hunter conservation,” of which there are no such phenomena. Hunters sell that they are conservationists controlling animal populations, preventing wildlife-human conflict, and eat their killings as they are hunting to feed the family. Hunter BS. Hunting is thrill killing, much of it sadistic. Hunters are doing more harm than good, distorting wildlife ecology and producing more human-wildlife conflict, not less. They are simply killing and putting a PR spin on it.
