Feds Decide To Halt Western Wolf Hearings
Colorado, Pacific Northwest public sessions terminated.
A decision by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to halt public wolf hearings in Colorado, Oregon and Montana has met with criticism from environmental advocates such as the Defenders of Wildlife.
“We are very disappointed to see the Obama Administration and the Fish and Wildlife Service ignoring wolf supporters in some of the nation’s best remaining, unoccupied wolf habitat,” says Jamie Rappaport Clark, Defenders president.
The federal government is turning its back on Americans who want to see thriving wolf populations restored, adds Clark. “Those who oppose the Service’s premature and short-sighted delisting proposal deserve a chance to voice their concerns. By excluding their voices, the Fish and Wildlife Service is effectively cutting off public debate about the future of wolves in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest,” he argues.

They even called it a matter of national security. Bullshit! The oil is going to Port Arthur Texas to be shipped to China! If this goes through, our gas, diesel and heating oil will go up, not down! And our wolves will continue to face torture and genocide, AGAIN! Greed of the filthy rich is the real enemy. The slob hunters are just the foot soldiers who brag of their murders online while just enjoying themselves way too much, not caring how or why all of a sudden, out of the blue, they are given the ultimate psychopath’s dream…snuffing out an endangered species. A gift from the heartless bastards in Congress to their fellow heartless bastards in the fields and woods to come out from under their wet rocks and kill the most sought after animal for their sick trophy collections, a mother wolf. Nobody in the above mentioned group cares that they are destroying beautiful, intelligent, sensitive and rare creatures. So intelligent and sensitive, wolves suffer PTSD! Just like people! Wolves are our first dogs, they taught us to survive. They shared their meat and we shared our warm shelters and fires with them. I always ask hunters if they would shoot their own dogs and they look in shock and confusion. So I explain wolve’s role in our early survival and as wilderness managers, their role in the planet’s survival! Killing a guardian spirit animal has very bad karma attached to it! Hopefully instant karma in the form of a hunting accident! The feds will do whatever they want to us and wolves. Forget representitive democracy, welcome to the middle ages, we are just tax-paying serfs now in third world America. While the parasites just take everything the can on their race to Forbes 500 listings. Greed, the deadly sin is proving very deadly to our beloved brothers and sisters, the wolves!
In time, those ruthless anti-wolf infidels will pay the ultimate price!!

Why is this happening? Its absurd!
CA FWS cancelled the meeting for a hearing on the delisting of the wolves in Sacramento, CA, Oct 2nd. Don’t know why but was emailed the new agenda. They even moved the meeting to So. CA. Our wolves advocates are making their voices heard and FWS knows it. We also know FWS is supported by trophy hunters and the cattlemen’s ass.
I tried to explain this the best that I could! You have to look at the whole picture. Not just the local scene. Sure you have to deal with your local issues but also ask yourself why you are confused as to why this is happening. Basically, although I have always been a wolf advocate,most recently I have been involved in banning water mining in my town along with POWWR with the help of CELDF. I come into the current wolf wars with a background of fighting international corporations. I may notice things that others do not. When I tell you that DC doesn’t give a rat’s ass about wolves right now, I know what I am talking about. As much as this enrages me, We can’t stop now, this is the last chance for wolves! The whole endangered species act is on the chopping block, wolves were the first big domino to fall. They want dirty tar sands oil pipelines and Senators from the wolf states all testified for it, ‘A matter of National Security ‘they said. Big Oil is the real ‘big, bad wolf’, hiding under the the cloaks of National Security. Very few politicians or their lacky appointees have the balls to go up against the money and power that this brings to their own doorsteps. Once they pull the national security card, the fence sitters run like rats from a burning ship. I’m not saying this is a done deal, but now we really know who our friends are! And we know who they are not! The fat pigs ran to the feeding trought, the chickens to roost in the safety of their coops. Now, we wolf war veterans must go to DC and make our point clear. If I have to use my mortgage money, I will be there, dressed like a lawyer and ready for the war of words and facts to come out! If you are pro-wolf and you want to go, call me. Maine to DC and back in a van. Wolves need us now.

The USFWS is a P.O.S. and it’s time to take to the streets
in a major revolt, demanding the USFWS to be defunded
and dissolved, as well as call for all the anti-wolf politicians
from both parties to be removed from office!!
What the USFWS has done, is a violation of our
First Amendment rights to speak out and I think it’s
time our warrior howlers write to those bureaucratic
douchebags and give those infidels a major reaming!!

Hi Wiz, all good ideas, think globally, act locally. Just whatever we do we must do it soon! A simple word of warning about the word you called them… we are all pissed off but just because you have the right to free speech doesn’t mean you won’t be targeted for it! By that, I mean according to my retired CIA contact, they color code your file. We have to assume we are all on one watch list or another… if we are not, we are just not trying…:-) but… using certain words will trigger their computer programs to pick you out. My contact was one of the computer programmers that wrote the original software that did this. Was told the color code Red is ‘shoot on sight, Blue is arrest on sight’. I do not know if it is still a current program or if NSA or Homeland Security uses the same system? Or if it is even handled in house anymore but you don’t want to get on those lists! I’m not saying don’t be an activist, just don’t confuse the alphabet soup’s computer and agents into thinking you are targeting them personally, they might over-react. Wolves need you free and alive to make an educated argument as well as to protest.
You can call politicians and their lackeys anything you might read in the NYT to EF! Journal, or spend some time on Ralph Nader’s website, listen to Buffy Sainte-Marie’s “Coincidence and Likely Stories” CD or John Trudell’s ‘Graffitti Man’ CD. All of them will give you insight and new words to express yourself without getting on the Red list! You have the activist fire inside you, learn from these veterans of fighting the good fight. If you want more names, listen to the lectures of Winnona LaDuke. I’m telling you to do this because it is quicker than reading and you will save time and learn fast. CELDF.org has online Democracy School for free! Also, keep in mind many wolf advocates are elderly so not everyone can handle or afford to march on DC. But everyone can afford a piece of paper to make a sign! And if all they can do, considering personal situations, is make a poster and put it in the window facing the street, they still are part of the Wolf War. Part of organizing is figuring out who does what best and assigning them that job!

our government ignores the majority of people. they could care less. this is not a democracy where the majority rules. THIS IS A DICTATORSHIP. if the all mighty buck is involved the majority will always lose.
Yes, you are correct! And when they scream ” A matter of National Security”, like their own pants were on fire, you know our fight just got a whole lot harder but also revealed where the worst problem lies… the Tar Sands of Alberta! This means NAFTA, corporate personhood and a whole lot of money in the oil and gas industry! If they are goose stepping with the NRA, Cattlemen’s assoc. And and Sportsmen’s assoc’s, we are screwed for the cash end, friendly politicians are few and far between, to fight these guy’s! We need to team up with those fighting all the people we have to fight and support each other’s causes!
Time is running out. DC is concerned with a gov’t shutdown. The parties are polarized. The day of Sept 30th may be a shutdown. Certainly USFWS won’t be seen as essential to keep up and running so we may get there to find no open comment day?
