Duck Hunting
NEVIS, MINN. (KFGO-AM) — A duck hunter died after being shot in the head by his hunting partner near Nevis.

The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office says Adam Poole, 23, of Nevis, and his partner were in a boat on 4th Crow Wing Lake. They both stood up to shoot at a duck and the partner lost his balance, and the gun went off.

Poole died at the scene.

  1. How I love it when a gutless knuckle dragging weapon monger gets justice. Good riddance. Let’s have more hunting accidents please. It really couldn’t happen to nicer or more deserving people 😉

  2. As much as I like this blog, I must fault it for leaving out some of the juicier details in the rush to beat Fox to the news. Just a moment or two with Google yielded an article with these fat-filled tidbits (‘fat’, as in juicy, not ‘fact’, as in dry & tasteless).

“Poole was married a month ago, according to his Facebook page, which includes a photo of himself and his wedding party wearing hunting camouflage tuxedo vests.”

Probably [as in speculation on my part], the bride told him before the wedding that she would “kill him” if he wore camo to their wedding. She has apparently perpetrated a perfect hit in carrying out her [speculated] threat:
“Authorities say they are treating Poole’s death strictly as an accident.”

Be sure to visit his Facebook page before someone takes it down.

There is a certain irony in his choices, e.g., https://www.facebook.com/pages/Guns-dont-kill-people-Chuck-Norris-does/127680620635922?ref=profile

I hope they play a side of Ted Nugent at his funeral, Ted was on his favorites list.
