  1. Probably some little maggot with ASPD that won’t ‘outgrow’ his twisted behavior? Serial killer in the making. I looked at all those photos, the arrows were aimed at the heart and neck, the intent was a dead dog. Pit Bulls and Wolves seem to be the main scapegoats of worthless, nobody, psychopaths, and evidently now Malamutes are targeted, too! This sickness of mind needs to be identified and treated aggressively at an early age! Too many stories of animal abuse now! I am so sick of the courts and laws being behind the times, really sick of laws protecting psychos because they are not 18 yet! And our nearly useless elected official blithering idiots arguing about gay marraige or abortion rather than dealing with the need to use science and modern psychology to deal with animal cruelty, arson, bullying and cyber stalking etc. These patterns need to be seen for what they are. Some kid slipped through the cracks and now a totally innocent animal is full of painful arrow wounds! No excuse for this!

      • I know they can’t be fixed, Jim …although they are experimenting with new forms of lobotomy on the criminally insane. And they have some nifty drugs to keep them under control. But yeah, this one belongs on the locked psych ward. If he fucks up after 18, well there are more options depending on what he tries to do! I will leave it at that before I really say what I would like to do to animal abusers and killers! When it comes to wolf killers, I think you will get my drift when I say “shoot them in the flour sack”!

      • Oh, I know a treatment with a 100% cure rate: an intra-cranial lead infusion. Unfortunately, existing laws limit the widespread application of this most effective therapy. I hope these twisted sickos understand that the only thing standing between themselves and a righteous wrath is the letter of the law.

      • Hey Geoff, sure they understand it, they count on being protected by law abiding citizens like us! Plus they think they are too smart to get caught! I live in a state where I can legally shoot them on my private property just for trespassing posted property with intent to commit a crime. But I can’t see wasting law enforcement’s time over a dead psychopath when I have a perfectly good backhoe and commercial chipper-shreader right handy! Ha-ha! I wouldn’t really do that, just having Willie the Pig Farmer flashbacks. 🙂 But one thing is for sure… nobody misses a psychopath for very long if at all. And whomever shot arrows into that innocent, teathered pitbull has it coming, sooner than later, I hope! Karma is a bitch! Seriously, I am very concerned for all the animals and small children in that neighborhood until that sick twitch is caught, those were attempted kill shots, if they weren’t practice arrows, that dog would be dead. As it is, the dog and his humans are going to have a hard time processing such senseless violence! I hope the vet bill gets paid by good people. I have sent the story through my network of rescuers, who generally donate to these kinds of sad cruelty related events. Most people have no idea how much anger is vented on pitbulls and how much neglect they suffer. One of my rescue friends won’t leave the house without her .357 in her purse because of the psychos she may run into rescuing pitbulls! Oh, BTW, the person who tortured the pitbull that was found roadside, near death, in a suburb of Boston was captured and went to prison, I was told. I hope the other prisoners do to him what he did to that poor dog! It seems like a day doesn’t go by without two or three cases of extreme animal or child abuse. When I was a kid, I lived with my grandfather, who had a friend who was a cop and the walls had little ears, mine. I heard the horrible details of crimes that were too graphic and sick for the newspaper to print. Thus driving me to understand abnormal behavior and rescue people and animals. Maybe that would be good subject matter for a book about all of the rescuers here and on the wolf blogs and pitbull blogs? Even the rescuers of hunting dog puppies who still are put in burlap sacks and thrown in a swamp in Mississippi! Because they are too ignorant to spay their dogs. There are many books on human on human crimes but hardly anything about dog and wolf rescuers and their stories. Just an idea. Gotta go make a salad for dinner, cranberries and apples, yummy! 🙂

  2. …my heart bleeds so much…*tears*…and one should NEVER leave their “pitty” alone even in their own yard…I know I don’t…too many soulless pieces of human dreck out there…dog bless you, sweet Spaz…you are loved ♥

  3. Who could do such a thing Jim? Only horrible people! I am so glad Spaz survived this ordeal…and I hope they’ll catch the criminal!
