JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) – A 24 year-old woman was shot by her husband while they were hunting in Jamestown Township Saturday.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies say the couple was hunting near 16th Avenue and Bryon Road 3:30 p.m.
Deputies say the husband was attempting to shoot a rabbit, and lost track of his wife.
The woman was taken to the hospital by Aero Med, but is in stable condition. This shooting remains under investigation.

She must of been wearing a rabbit fur coat with the hood up, and not wearing her life savng orange vest!! That’s why the man’s pet dog was shot several times,because the hunter thought it was a wolf and not wearing the life saving orange vest !!!
I still think it would be in everybody’s best interest if it was mandatory, THAT all hunters MUST yell…MORON SHOOTING!!!!!

How about the hunter who shot his hunter partner
father- in-law and killed him. The hunter thought he was a squirrel ! How many years of education do you need to differentiate a squirrel from a person ?
Oh sure, the shooting is under investigation but had that been someone’s malamute dog, forget it!
