I honestly don’t think I am even at the superficial level. Nature itself has created organisms that are supposed to strive for self-survival and nourishment. We have barely changed nature in the grand scale of things. Many ice ages, asteroid impacts, and super-massive volcano eruptions have happened that have shaped the Earth more in an instant that humans have in millennia. Mass extinction events are a part of nature, and humans are an animal species just like any other. If humans don’t take good care of the planet, it just means that the human species was not very good at sustaining itself and passing on its gene pool to future generations to maintain a human population, thus going extinct.
