CODY, Wyo. (AP) — A Cody man has died from an accidental gunshot wound to both legs.
Authorities say 39-year-old Bruce Ellyson was hunting with some friends east of the Clearwater Campground in the Shoshone National Forest on Sunday when the accident occurred.
The Park County Sheriff’s Office says Ellyson and his companions had just finished their hunt and were preparing to leave when a rifle leaning against a vehicle fell over and fired.
Ellyson was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, Mont., where he died from his injuries.
I wonder who died besides the killer. The article doesn’t even bother to mention them; they are evidently that inconsequential. I try to feel some sadness for those who cared about the killer, but it’s a rough go.
It is a rough go to feel sympathy – from what I have seen on social media pages and the behaviour of some of them. This man may not be part of that.
when a rifle leaning against a vehicle fell over and fired.
Divine intervention!
They went out for a day of killing. Looks like they got what they were looking for.
No matter how hard I try, I can Not find any sympathy for a dead hunter. He is one less killer of wildlife. Hunters are nothing but life sucking parasites.
So who cares. Chalk one up for the defensless animals who are being hunted. Let the creepy hunters get a taste of their own medicine!
Karma. All hunting needs to stop.
