Our association appeals to you On 27th 28th 29th of November in Gadhimai Temple (Mandir) Bariyarpur, Bara District in the Narayani Zone of south-eastern Nepal. There will be a Massive slaughter of animals killed for religious sacrifices of 500,000 animals to be Brutally Sacrificed in Nepal across the month of November 2014. This is one of the world’s largest sacrifices. The Gadhimai Festival Held every 5 years. The Main dates for the biggest sacrifice. Is on the, 28th & 29th November. Next to the Gadhimai Temple, where Thousands of animals will be slaughtered, by being slashed to death in just two days. On Facebook there are petitions and events on this Site also Twitter … against this ritual of death but we really do need your help. We consider this Ritual a barbaric violence perpetrated the massacres and sacrifices of animals, and we urge you to stop the sacrifice of animals Because Religion is not death, Religion is not a cult of death please Remember The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated

We have horrifically betrayed animals and the planet…dishonored our species and ALL others– with our psychopathic, immoral, cruel and irresponsible behavior.
One day, NATURE will kick back…and show no mercy.

No words to describe the atrocities towards animals on this planet. We will never find peace with each other if we continue to participate in violence towards animals.
Let’s bring back the more “traditional” of sacrifices: human sacrifice. It would do this Earth a lot more good.

I’ve always wondered about this – what kind of God would require such a thing? It says more about humans than any god or religion ever could. We are a bloodthirsty, violent species. We’re working on improving, but we’ve got a long way to go.
I just got a good look at the picture with the lone calf (I wasn’t sure what it was all around him when I first saw it) – Jeez, how many frigging dead animals are there? We are a very strange species. This is truly bizarre.
Ugh. Such blatant hypocrisy too – would any of these people step up to the plate to offer themselves for beliefs they are so devoted to? Somehow I doubt it. But it’s ok to kill animals with abandon, because they are considered less than human. Well then – why not give the object of your religious zeal the supreme gift of themselves?
I mean, why give your God a second rate gift anyway? I’d be insulted if I were the Supreme Creator.
